Florida Quarterback Tim Tebow Injured

The earth stopped: Superman got injured.

Florida Gators quarterback Tim Tebow was apparently knocked out by a vicious blow by a Kentucky defender in the team's 41-7 victory over Kentucky.

Tebow was taking the snap from the shotgun formation when he was blind-sided by a Kentucky defender and fell to the ground. But as he was falling his head hit a teammate's leg causing his neck to bend forward.

Gators coach Urban Meyer believes that Tebow probably suffered a concussion and that he should be okay.

Players from Florida all went out onto the field once the Gator's QB was laying motionless on the floor.

A Bye week couldn't come at a better time for the Florida Gators as they are off next week before they travel to Baton Rouge, LA to face the so far undefeated LSU Tigers.

At one point Tebow was on the sidelines receiving attention, until the team decided to get a chart to take him off the field.  As he was being carted off he was seen throwing up into a bag, a common occurrence from someone who has suffered from a concussion.

My thoughts and prayers are with Tim Tebow and his parents.

Although I didn't watch the game, I heard the report on ESPN Radio (I listen to that all day long). For the sake of the Gators, I hope that he'll be okay. He's my formula:

NO TEBOW = NO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Great hub, John. I'd hate to be a Las Vegas spread-maker right now!

Yeah hopefully he will be okay. And I agree no tebow definitely no BCS championship, not even an SEC championship for that matter.
